Filming Production Begins On The Set Of ‘The Hangover 2’

Reprising their roles for another go ’round, actors Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Justin Bartha and Zach Galifianakis (not pictured below) were all spotted at Ontario International Airport here in SoCal this weekend on the set of the sequel film The Hangover 2. Here are a few photos from the first day of production: As I [...]

Yesterday turned out to be a totally lazy day for me … I spent much of the day playing video games on my Nintendo DS and not doing pretty much anything else. I did venture out of the house last night to sate my hunger for a plate of Aussie Cheese Fries from Outback:

After my breathing became labored and my arteries had sufficiently hardened, it was time to get back home. David and I received some very sad news of a death in a friend’s family so David booked a flight back East to attend the funeral which will be held tomorrow. I dropped him off at the airport this morning. Since I’ll be flying solo for a couple of days I can get some things taken care of … hopefully I’ll find our Hallowe’en costumes today or tomorrow. The weather heated up considerably here in SoCal, much to my glee. Happy Sunday, y’all.

Miley Cyrus Gets Immortalized In Wax

Now … we’ve seen our fair share of wax statue effigies of quite a few celebrities here on Pink is the new Blog … some of them are amazingly lifelike and some of them are horrendously scary. A wax museum in Madrid, Spain called Museo de Cera has unveiled a wax statue of Miley Cyrus [...]

Earlier this week we saw photos of Brad Pitt and his eldest sons Maddox Chivan and Pax Thien at the NYC premiere of his new film Megamind. Well, as soon as that premiere was over, Brad and the boys hopped on a plane and flew their bums back to Budapest, Hungary so that they could reunite with the rest of the family. Here are a few fun photos of Brad and Angelina Jolie with their children Pax, Zahara Marley and Shiloh Nouvel at a very fun-looking park in Budapest earlier today:

Um … this looks like the COOLEST PARK EVER! None of the parks that I played in as a kid or have seen as an adult anywhere I’ve been looks as amazing as this park. In the US, parks are no longer allowed to have really tall slides or any equipment that can cause injury … primarily for legal reasons. I really love that this park in Budapest has zip-lining! Amazing. I bet the Brangelina bunch had a great time … as is plainly evident on Shiloh‘s really happy and adorable face :D

Meet Skeeter, The Narcoleptic Dog

This is really sad to watch, but also kind of cute and funny.
Skeeter is a normal dog, just like any other in the world, except one little difference, he's narcoleptic. Yes, this poor little pooch just can't seem to stay awake!
In the middle of walks, he'll plop over. If he's eating a treat, he's not [...]

Wow! Wow! Wow! Wow! Wow!
Go, Mary! Go, Mary! Go!
We must admit, we were BLOWN AWAY by Mary Byrne's performance on X Factor Saturday night!
It was a revelation!
Prior to this weekend's voice, we appreciated her big voice but we also through it was a bit shrill. However, last night she gave a nuanced and command performance [...]

And here come the Adam Lambert comparisons!

Aiden Grimshaw took on the Tears For Fears classic Mad World on X Factor Saturday night.

But, he really made this song his own!

It was almost a creepy take on the song!

Definitely captivating!

Aiden has something very special about his voice!

We have to agree, though, that he needs to work on being less introverted - but this song suits him quite well.

Wedding Bands/Music Make the Right Choice

The first and most important thing is to decide what kinds of songs and music that you want to be played on your big day. There are so many options to choose from like traditional wedding bands/music, contemporary, light-hearted, religious, eclectic or somber. You can also choose music pertaining to a specific culture or according to the theme of your wedding if any. Once you have decided the framework, consider half the job done. It is best to sit down with your partner and make the selection rather than do it all by yourself; if you have hired a wedding planner, then make sure that she is also a part of your discussions as the music must reflect the overall mood of the wedding.

Brief History and Background of Synthesizers

Over the years a lot of different types of electric guitar have hit the market. And various rockabilly guitarists have probably used just about every type there is. But one type of guitar has risen to iconic stature in the rockabilly world: the hollow-body guitar. And to narrow things down even more, the Gretsch guitar company has really ruled rockabilly since the early days with their 6120 and other models. So, what is this "hollow-body" business all about?

Rockabilly Guitarists Love That Hollow Body Sound

Keeping yourself in tune is one of the most important and essential fundamentals in singing, maybe even more than your vocal range. Sometimes you will notice someone singing along with a CD and not even recognize that they are singing out of tune seeing that they are not recording what they sound like. Some people do not even see that they are singing out of tune even when they are singing without any music.

The name Gretsch conjures up images of big-bodied guitars, with cool names like White Falcon, Black Phoenix and Country Gentleman being out through their paces by legends like Beatle George Harrison, 50s rock 'n roller Eddie Cochran and king of rockabilly Brian Setzer. But there's more to Gretsch than big fat guitars with f-holes and Bigsby vibratos.

Electro Acoustic Guitars

The original 22 steps on how to do the electric slide were created by its choreographer, Ric Silver, in 1976. It's not very complicated but a lot of simplified steps are now being taught if you try searching for other dance websites. The electric slide is quite famous in many countries. This is probably because the steps on how to do the electric slide dance are fairly easy to remember and don't hinder our enthusiasm to continually learn while enjoying it at the same time.

Post rock is one of music's more enigmatic genres. Defining itself by what it's not (rock) gives little clue as to what it is. Ironically, given that the phrase 'post rock' literally translates to 'after rock', it is in fact a sub-genre of rock music, something that is immediately obvious to anyone who hears it.
