The Senegalese-American singer-songwriter Akon have a duet with the American recording artist Michael Jackson with a song Hold my Hand. This song was originally recorded by Jackson in 2008 as set to be released as the first single from Akon's 2008 album, Freedom. Akon finished production on the song after Jackson's death in 2009 and finished recording his own vocals for the song in 2010.
